LED explosion-proof lamp is a type of explosion-proof lamp, and its principle is the same as that of explosion-proof lamp, except that the light source is LED. It refers to various special methods to avoid surrounding explosive mixtures, such as explosive gas environment, explosive dust environment, gas environment, etc. It is currently the most energy-efficient explosion-proof lamp, widely used in oil fields, power plants, chemical enterprises, petroleum institutions, etc.
The use of LED explosion-proof lamps makes it difficult to dissipate heat, with a heat dissipation cost of around 5%. Practical heat dissipation planning is simple, and the shorter the path to mastering LED explosion-proof lamp chips and external heat dissipation equipment, the greater the heat dissipation resistance, and the more abundant the heat dissipation path. At the same time, sufficient heat dissipation paths are also required. This cost mainly lies in the structure, with the structural planning of the lighting fixtures accounting for about 20%, and the cost for heat dissipation is not high. How to make structural planning more independent and rational was a major issue that urgently needed to be addressed at that time. Whether it is a general LED explosion-proof lamp or a high-voltage LED explosion-proof lamp, compared to them, both general LED explosion-proof lamps and high-voltage LED explosion-proof lamps inevitably face problems with heat dissipation planning and operational reliability.
The explosion-proof principle of LED explosion-proof lamps is very important. It restricts the temperature of the shell surface, component surface, or electronic component surface in contact with explosive gases and dust, and restricts the temperature of the electrical touch surface to be lower than the minimum ignition or ignition temperature. LED explosion-proof lights are used outdoors and require waterproof drivers. The use of LED explosion-proof lights in gas stations requires shock resistance!
The explosion-proof varieties, explosion-proof grades, and temperatures of explosion-proof lamps shall be implemented in accordance with national standards and regulations.
According to the explosion-proof type, it can be divided into five main types: explosion-proof type, increased safety type, positive pressure type, non sparking type, and dust explosion-proof type. It can also be composed of other explosion-proof types, combinations or composite types of the above explosion-proof types, and special types. According to the type of electric shock prevention, it can be divided into three types: Type I, Type II, and Type III. Explosion proof lamp maintenance is to prevent the explosion-proof lamp shell from easily coming into contact with components, which can cause electric shock to the human body or sparks from conductors of different potentials, resulting in mixed explosions.
Type I - On the basis of basic insulation, connect all easily accessible conductive components that are not charged during normal operation to the maintenance grounding conductor in the fixed line.
Class II - Choose double insulation or reinforced insulation, without grounding maintenance, as a safety maintenance.
Class III - Use a safe voltage that does not exceed an effective value of 50V and does not produce results beyond this voltage.
Class 0- relies solely on foundation insulation for safety maintenance. The electric shock maintenance type of most explosion-proof electric lamp products is Type I, with only a few products being Type II and Type III. For example, all plastic explosion-proof lamps, flashlight explosion-proof lamps, etc.
